Various elements were designed for the CBBC Newsround Special: Let’s Talk About Sexism presented by Lauren Layfield; a collaboration with Kilogramme Animation Studio who animated the designs for broadcast. Drawing on the visual language of protest and demonstration, we used placards in a playful way to help open up the conversation around sexism while remaining relevant for the CBBC audience. The show was aired to coincide with BBC Newsround's 50th anniversary.
