All That Fits: The Aesthetics of Journalism

Editorial Design, Typography
All That Fits: The Aesthetics of Journalism is an exhibition presenting the idea that art and journalism are two sides of a unique activity; the production and distribution of images and information. Curated by Alfredo Cramerotti & Simon Sheikh, the exhibition is presented in three chapters: The Speaker, The Image and The Militant, the three separate displays referring to the rotation of the news cycle, each responding to the overall theme. For the exhibition catalogue we responded to the three chapters by giving each one a sense of identity in both the form of a line (horizontal, vertical, diagonal), and individual font choices representative of each chapter’s personality. The publication simultaneously presents unity by being printed as a two colour Risograph on Cyclus Offset offering a newsprint aesthetic.
